Conditions d'utilisation

L'accord entre vous et Innolope LLC concernant l'utilisation de Forkie. Nous l'avons rendu aussi clair et humain qu'un document juridique peut l'être.

Dernière mise à jour: July 13, 2026

1. Welcome to Forkie

Thanks for using Forkie. These Terms of Service (the "Terms") are the agreement between you and Innolope LLC ("Innolope," "we," "us," or "our"), the company behind Forkie, and they set out the rules for using our website at 4kie.com and the recipe, fridge, shopping-list, and meal-planning features we offer through it (together, the "Service"). We've tried to write them in plain language, but they are still a legally binding contract, so please read them carefully.

By creating an account, subscribing, or otherwise using the Service, you agree to these Terms and to our Privacy Policy, which is part of this agreement. If you don't agree with something here, that's completely understandable — but in that case please don't use the Service. If you are using Forkie on behalf of a company or another organization, you're telling us that you have the authority to accept these Terms on its behalf.

2. Who we are and how to reach us

Forkie is operated by Innolope LLC, a limited liability company organized in the State of Delaware, United States. Our registered address is Innolope LLC, Ste A, 8 The Green, Dover, DE 19901, United States.

The friendliest way to reach a human is by email at [email protected], or through the contact form on our Support page. We read every message, and we'd genuinely rather hear from you early than have a small problem grow into a frustrating one.

3. Eligibility and your account

Forkie is a general-audience cooking companion, but it isn't built for young children. You must be at least 13 years old to use the Service, and if you are under the age of majority where you live, you may only use Forkie with the involvement and consent of a parent or legal guardian who agrees to these Terms on your behalf.

Some features work without an account, and you can also use Forkie with an anonymous session that we later let you upgrade into a full account. When you do create or sign in to an account — whether with an email address, a magic link, or a Google or Apple sign-in — you agree to give us accurate information and to keep it up to date. You're responsible for what happens under your account and for keeping your login method secure, so please don't share it, and let us know promptly at [email protected] if you think someone has accessed your account without permission.

4. What Forkie does

Forkie helps you find recipes you'll actually want to cook, keep track of what's in your fridge and pantry, build shopping lists, plan meals across the week, save favorites, and tailor recommendations to the cuisines and dietary preferences you tell us about. We're always improving the Service, which means features may be added, changed, or retired over time. We'll try to make meaningful changes gracefully, but we can't promise that any particular feature will stay exactly the same forever.

Forkie is an informational and organizational tool. The recipes, nutrition estimates, ingredient details, and suggestions we provide are offered in good faith to help you cook and plan, but they are not professional dietary, medical, or nutritional advice. Please treat them as a helpful starting point rather than the final word — especially where allergies, health conditions, or food safety are concerned. Section 9 covers this in more detail because it genuinely matters.

5. Subscriptions, billing, and refunds

Much of Forkie is free to use, supported in part by advertising. We also offer a paid premium subscription that unlocks additional features and removes ads. When you subscribe, you'll see the price, billing period, and any free-trial terms clearly presented before you confirm, and by completing the purchase you authorize us and our payment partners to charge you the amount shown.

Subscriptions renew automatically at the end of each billing period at the then-current price, until you cancel. You can cancel at any time, and cancellation stops the next renewal; your premium access then continues until the end of the period you've already paid for. If we offer a free trial and you don't cancel before it ends, it will roll into a paid subscription at the standard price so that your access isn't interrupted.

Payments and subscription management are handled through our billing provider, RevenueCat, together with the payment processor that actually charges your card or chosen payment method. We don't see or store your full card number. Prices are shown in your local currency where possible and may not include taxes, which we or our processor may add where required by law.

We may change subscription prices from time to time. If we do, the new price won't apply to your current billing period — we'll give you notice and it will take effect on a later renewal, and you're always free to cancel before it does. Except where the law gives you a mandatory right to a refund (for example, certain statutory cancellation rights for consumers in the EU, the UK, and elsewhere), payments are generally non-refundable. That said, we're reasonable people: if something has clearly gone wrong with a charge, write to us at [email protected] and we'll look into it fairly.

6. Acceptable use

Forkie only works well when everyone uses it in good faith, so there are a few things we ask you not to do. Please don't use the Service for anything unlawful; don't try to break, overload, probe, or reverse-engineer it, or get around its security or rate limits; and don't scrape, copy, or harvest its content or data with automated tools except as any published robots rules allow.

Please also don't misuse features meant for real people — for example, by submitting spam or fraudulent support requests, impersonating someone else, uploading malicious code, or collecting other users' information. And please don't use Forkie to infringe anyone's intellectual property or privacy rights. If your use of the Service creates a genuine risk of harm to Forkie, to us, or to other people, we may need to step in, as described in Section 14.

7. Your content

Forkie lets you create your own information as you use it — favorites, notes, fridge and pantry items, shopping lists, meal plans, and the preferences you set. That content is yours. You keep all the rights you have in it, and we don't claim ownership of it.

To actually run the Service, we need your permission to use that content in the ordinary, behind-the-scenes ways that make Forkie work — for instance, to store it, back it up, sync it across your devices, and show it back to you. You therefore grant us a limited, worldwide, non-exclusive, royalty-free license to host and process your content solely to provide and improve the Service for you. You're responsible for the content you add, and you confirm that you have the right to add it and that it doesn't break these Terms or anyone else's rights.

8. Our intellectual property

Forkie itself — including the website, its design and layout, the Forkie name and logo, our recipe collections and editorial content, and the software behind it all — belongs to Innolope or our licensors and is protected by copyright, trademark, and other laws. We love that you want to cook from our recipes; that's the whole point. What we ask is that you don't republish, resell, or systematically copy our content or branding as if it were your own.

We grant you a personal, limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable license to use the Service for your own private, non-commercial cooking and meal-planning. Any rights we don't expressly grant here stay with us. If you send us feedback or suggestions — and we hope you will — you agree that we can use them freely to improve Forkie, without any obligation to you.

9. Food, nutrition, and health — please read this one

This is the section we most want you to notice. Forkie provides recipes, ingredient information, and nutrition estimates for general informational purposes only. We are not a doctor, dietitian, or food-safety authority, and nothing in the Service is medical, dietary, or nutritional advice or a substitute for professional guidance.

Ingredient lists and nutrition figures can be incomplete or approximate, and recipes can't account for your particular kitchen, health, or circumstances. You are the best judge of what's safe and appropriate for you and the people you cook for. Please check ingredients carefully if you or your guests have allergies, intolerances, or dietary restrictions; follow safe food-handling, cooking-temperature, and storage practices; and talk to a qualified professional before making decisions about your diet or health, especially if you have a medical condition, are pregnant, or are cooking for young children. You use recipes and information from Forkie at your own discretion and risk.

10. Third-party services and links

Forkie relies on trusted third-party providers — for sign-in, subscriptions, analytics, security, and error monitoring — and may link out to other websites or resources. We choose our providers carefully, but we don't control third-party services or the sites we link to, and we're not responsible for their content, products, or practices. When you use a third-party service through Forkie, that provider's own terms and privacy policy apply to your use of it. Our Privacy Policy lists the main providers we work with.

11. Disclaimers

We work hard to make Forkie reliable, useful, and pleasant to use, and we genuinely want it to work well for you. At the same time, and to the fullest extent permitted by law, the Service is provided "as is" and "as available," without warranties of any kind, whether express or implied — including implied warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, accuracy, and non-infringement.

We don't promise that the Service will always be uninterrupted, error-free, secure, or free from bugs, or that any content or nutrition information will be complete or accurate. Some jurisdictions don't allow certain warranty exclusions, so parts of this section may not apply to you; where that's the case, the exclusions apply only to the extent the law allows.

12. Limitation of liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, Innolope and the people who work with us won't be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or for any loss of profits, data, goodwill, or other intangible losses, arising out of or related to your use of (or inability to use) the Service — even if we've been advised that such damages are possible.

Where liability can't be excluded but can be limited, our total liability to you for all claims relating to the Service is capped at the greater of the amount you paid us for the Service in the twelve months before the claim, or fifty U.S. dollars (US$50). Nothing in these Terms limits any liability that can't legally be limited — such as, in some places, liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence, or for fraud. These limits reflect a fair allocation of risk between us and are a basic part of the deal that lets us offer Forkie on these terms.

13. Indemnification

If someone brings a claim against us because of how you used the Service — for example, because you broke these Terms, misused Forkie, or infringed someone else's rights — you agree to defend, indemnify, and hold harmless Innolope and the people who work with us from the resulting claims, damages, and reasonable costs, including legal fees. We'll let you know about any such claim, and we may participate in its defense.

14. Suspension and termination

You can stop using Forkie whenever you like, and you can ask us to close your account by contacting [email protected]. If you have a paid subscription, remember that cancelling stops future renewals but doesn't by itself delete your account.

We may suspend or end your access to the Service if you seriously or repeatedly break these Terms, if it's necessary to protect Forkie, our users, or other people, or if we're required to by law. Where it's reasonable and appropriate, we'll aim to give you notice and a chance to put things right first. When your account ends, the rights we granted you stop, but the sections of these Terms that by their nature should survive — such as content licenses you've granted, disclaimers, limitations of liability, and dispute resolution — will continue to apply. We handle your data after termination as described in our Privacy Policy.

15. Governing law and disputes

These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Delaware, United States, without regard to conflict-of-laws rules, except where mandatory consumer-protection laws in your home country give you additional rights that can't be overridden by agreement — those still apply to you.

If you have a concern, please contact us first at [email protected]; most issues can be sorted out quickly and informally, and we'd much rather do that than involve lawyers. If we can't resolve a dispute that way, the courts located in the State of Delaware will have jurisdiction, and you and we agree to that venue — again, without limiting any mandatory rights you have to bring a claim in your own country. Wherever the law allows, any dispute will be resolved on an individual basis rather than as part of a class action.

16. Changes to these Terms

As Forkie grows, we may need to update these Terms — for instance, to reflect new features, legal requirements, or clearer wording. When we make changes, we'll update the "Last updated" date at the top of this page, and for significant changes we'll give you more prominent notice where we reasonably can. If you keep using the Service after an update takes effect, that means you accept the revised Terms. If you don't agree with a change, you're free to stop using Forkie and, if you'd like, to close your account.

17. A few final details

These Terms, together with our Privacy Policy and any additional terms you agree to for specific features, make up the entire agreement between you and Innolope about the Service. If any part of them turns out to be unenforceable, the rest stays in effect, and the unenforceable part will be applied as closely as possible to its original intent. If we don't enforce a right straight away, that isn't a waiver of it.

You may not transfer your rights or obligations under these Terms without our consent, but we may transfer ours — for example, as part of a merger, acquisition, or reorganization — while continuing to honor these Terms. We aren't responsible for delays or failures caused by events beyond our reasonable control. We'll send you notices through the Service or by email; you can send us formal legal notices at Innolope LLC, Ste A, 8 The Green, Dover, DE 19901, United States, and reach our support team any time at [email protected].

18. Contact us

Questions about these Terms are always welcome. You can email us at [email protected], use the contact form on our Support page, or write to us at Innolope LLC, Ste A, 8 The Green, Dover, DE 19901, United States. We appreciate you taking the time to read this — now go cook something good.
